In 2012 we undertook an ambitious project to transform a derelict 1950’s automotive workshop into our trademark Auckland café, cooking and brewing seven days a week.

Retaining the original flooring, exposed rafter ceiling and complete with racing stripes, the café brims with soul and is a slick yet unpretentious combination of old and new. The centre-aligned black stained concrete bar with weighty natural akwa wooden overhangs and raw steel detailing provides visual interest while keeping the working engine of the café entirely exposed – so you want watch our chefs and baristas practice their trade and prepare your food and coffee.

With a full kitchen cooking until 2pm every day, our Newmarket café offers a fresh and modern brunch and lunch menu as well as a variety of freshly prepared sandwiches, savouries and sweets from the cabinet.
